Brenda Quagmire is the sister of Glenn and Gary Quagmire and the abused ex-girlfriend of Jeffery Fecalman. She first appeared in "Jerome is the New Black". She is voiced by Kaitlin Olson.
Biography[]
Brenda makes her first appearance in "Jerome is the New Black", where she's staying at Quagmire's house to hide out from her abusive boyfriend, Jeffery Fecalman. Brian mistakes her for a girl Quagmire is having sex with and jokes about how "worn out" she looks from Quagmire "plowing" her all night. Quagmire corrects him in disgust and explains to situation. When Jeffery's car drives up, Quagmire has Brenda hide in the garage. Jeffery demands to know where Brenda is but Quagmire lies and says she's not here. Brian tries to defuse the situation by sanctimoniously scolding Jeffery for his abusiveness. While doing so, he accidentally lets it slip that she's hiding from him in the garage, which pisses Quagmire right off. Jeffery grabs Brenda and takes her back home and also gaslights her into believing she's the abusive one for leaving him. As Brenda gets dragged off, Quagmire sarcastically thanks Brian and reminds him of how he previously made fun of his deaf brother, Gary Quagmire. Jeff overhears this and calls Brian out for disrespecting Glenn's family. Brenda agrees, which gets herself punched by Jeff again.
Brenda returns to play a major role in "Screams of Silence: Story of Brenda Q.", where she comes to visit Glenn in the hospital after he nearly chokes himself to death via erotic auto-asphyxiation. While Quagmire recovers from his "accident" at the hospital, Brenda's abusive boyfriend Jeff shows up too, much to the chagrin of Lois. While Quagmire is unconscious, Brenda sings him a disturbing childhood nursery rhyme to help him recover causing him to wake up. Despite Jeff's complaints, Brenda agrees to take care of Glenn while he recovers. As the entire neighborhood is kept awake with Jeff's rants, Lois tries to talk to Brenda about leaving Jeff on a day out at a restaurant. When Brenda suspiciously continues to wear sunglasses inside the restaurant, Lois discovers Jeff gave her a black eye. Brenda tries to justify Jeff's treatment to Lois' disgust. Quagmire worries that some night Jeff may actually kill her but Joe claims he can't act until after the fact and suggests an intervention. Most of the intervention goes badly, but Glenn makes a heartfelt plea and seems to have won over his sister until Jeff walks in. When Glenn tries to show Jeff the door, Jeff has Brenda announce that they're getting married because she's pregnant. Later that night over cards, Glenn continues to worry about Jeff's treatment of Brenda and, over cards, decide to kill him for her sake. After the deed is done, they forge a fake note for her to read.
Brenda appears at her grandmother's funeral in "Hot Pocket-Dial".
Brenda appears as a child during Ida's flashback sequence in "Trans-Fat", where she was seen playing with Quagmire, while their father, Dan watched them.
Brenda returns for another major role in "You Are Not the Father", where the child she was pregnant with in "Screams of Silence", Abby Quagmire, is now 10 years old. She calls up Quagmire to tell him that Abby is starting to ask who her real father is and she doesn't want to tell her the truth about Jeffery Fecalman. She lied to Abby and said that her father lives down in Quahog and asks Quagmire if he could help find a guy to pretend to be Abby's dad, when she comes down and visits them.

Brenda Quagmire is a frail, fragile Caucasian woman with dark raven hair. She usually wears a dark magenta cropped shirt, a strawberry jam red skirt, and black slip-on low heeled shoes.
Personality[]
Brenda Quagmire is a pathetic and defenseless wimp, who allows herself to serve as the unwitting punching bag of her abusive boyfriend, Jeffery Fecalman, who constantly beats the living daylights out of her every single day. She is soft-spoken, self-deprecating, and downtrodden. Her boyfriend forces her to work almost 100 hours a week, while he sits on his ass and does absolutely nothing. At first, she constantly complained about the way she was being treated, which got her beaten, but by the time the episode "Screams of Silence" rolled around, she had completely gone quiet, knowing now that she shouldn't speak out like this anymore. Yet, she still got herself beaten mercilessly.
